Chat forum and Welcome

Am I crazy or there used to be a separated sub-forum for all the "welcome" posts outside the MH Chat?

I struggle to find the actual posts in between all the welcome ones... we definitely want to welcome the new members but it's kind of overtaking the whole chat forum, isn't it?

The two were amalgamated, I have posted on what is being changed. Cutting down the number of forums to make it all easier used.

I do agree though to many welcome posts in chat, I've disabled the welcome message for now. Not many reply to it anyhow.

That's perfect. Will you clean up the old welcome messages or just let them die a natural death?
