We have a dometic aes fridge freezer which won’t work on gas. We’ve cleaned out burner and jet but can’t smell gas at all hob and boiler working fine and cadac was used at weekend so that’s getting gas too we’ve turned it on and off a few times but no joy. Thinking airlock but how do we clear it.

Try a fresh gas cylinder if you have one handy,

This is the gas manifold, I think that's the name.
After the gas leaves the regulator it enters this, which sends it to each appliance.
The red knobs are taps which can turn off an individual appliance.
Check that your fridge tap it not turned to off position.

Was going to post the same thing. Another thing to check is if you can hear the fridge trying to spark when you switch it to gas, may help to isolate the problem.

Try to manually light it with a candle lighter, gas will turn off if no spark so you may not smell it, if it lights disconnect all the wires and clean them especially the one connecting to the sparker

PDK, can you post a pic of the front control panel please.
I’ve sorted a couple with the same issues and if I see the controls I may be able to assist.

When we turn control to gas it clicks as it should for a few seconds then it flashes yellow/Amber not red but doesn’t light, we don’t have the van that long and only tried it once on gas and can’t remember if it worked 😶

If it hasn't been lit for a while it will take a bit of time to bleed had down to the burner, its a very Small jet to bleed trough. And since this tube and jet is always open the gas will just evaporate out of this over time when not in use
There will usually be a bleed screw on the side of the selector valve behind the front cover.
Try again with the photo of the valve arrangement.

It looks like the same burner unit as mine.

Charles Camping is out of stock of the burner jet (Dometic Jet 45) but should have some in next week.

http://www.charlescamping.ie/s…et-45.html

Best value around at €16.95.

Check that this is the correct one but Charles camping tell me that they have sold 65 of them so it must be the most popular.
