The German Government has been been defeated in their proposal to charge for the Autobans. They wanted a blanket charge of 150 euros per annum for any one using them, this amount would be deducted from german road tax per vehicle so that they went uncharged. Austria objected and the court ruled in their favour. The shape of things to come ?
