Did you replace the bulb with the same wattage as what came out?
Brake light bulb is usually 21 watt,

I had the privilege of driving an 2007 Iveco truck for a year or so when it was new,
I had every bulb working and still had the warning on the dash, it took a lot of scratching of the head but I eventually tracked the problem to a 5 watt bulb fitted to the number plate light, it should have been a 10 watt (I had never heard of a 10 watt) but was the smaller of the two sizes and I guessed it was just 5 watt,
Fitted the 10 watt and all was back to normal,

Before you run off to the decoder guy and after checking your bulbs wattage, run a temporary wire directly from your battery earth pole to the rear lamp unit.
Most rear lamp units have an extra point of connection for a earth wire.
The rear lamp units are sometimes earthed in the chassis rails, not from the dash and a little corrosion at this point will confuse the canbus or monitoring system.
If the temporary earth clears the fault, you will know the problem.

A simple fix in the end.
Great result.
It shows the importance of " honey check the rear lights" before you leave home.
