Hi folks....towards the end of April I need to spend 2 nights at the University of Swansea and was thinking of staying a few kms down the road in The Mumbles which is a little seaside resort. I'm wondering has anybody wild camped there before. Searching online there seem to be several car parks mentioned but also articles about digruntled locals etc. Any experiences would be appreciated.

Register with wildcamping.co.uk and have a look at their POIs, should be plenty of spots on their site.

Mumbles is fine to park although it is pay parking there are only about six if I remember correctly large spaces side on suitable for long vans so you might be lucky either that you might need to come back later in evening but plenty to see and do you'll love it oh also there is a public toilet
