Ducato rear wiring for trailer socket

I have to fit a trailer socket onto a mates ducato based mh.
It is 08 reg.
Does anyone have a chart of the individual wire colours?
It would save me a bunch of time in not having to individually test each wire.
I will be fitting a 7 way bypass relay to stop the canbus system from acting up.
Thanks
Malcolm

I am aware of the socket wiring and bypass relay.
It is the wire colours and functions of the van harness that I'm after.
Thanks
Malcolm

I've had the towbar taken off my van but the electrics are still there if you want to come over and have a look don't know if that's any help but I suspect each manufacturer may have their own taillight wiring system

Thorn, try witter towbars.co.uk wiring diagrams and your will get the different diagrams, there are several for either towing a trailer or a caravan. I have used them myself to sort out a mates trailer which would not work on Vauxhall Corsa. Take your rear tail lights out and you will see the colours.

I wired a towbar on my 2012 relay using a bypass relay. Run the wire from the bypass relay up to one of the rear lights, take light unit out and you will gain access to wires and see what lights they are feeding. You will also have to run a wire to other light cluster to join onto other indicator. Simple enough but just takes time.

I think that I might be sorted.
There is 7.4 metre Dethleff mh on this Ducato. Behind the rear axle, dethleff, unplugged the fiat rear loom and fitted their one, some of which runs through the garage.
The back of the rear lamps, seem to be part of the bumper and in order to scotchlock the wires, I fear that the bumper may have to be removed.
Looks like that I will have a session on my back underneath wiring in the trailer socket.

Lastly to pick up a positive and negative feed for the bypass relay, where is handy?
I am not familiar with ducato.

in order to scotchlock the wires,

Malcolm,
I know you are firmilar with wires,
But I would not use Scotchlocks on wires as I have had to clean up after scotlocks in the past,

ID solder to be sure and a bit of heat shrink to make sure all is sound,,

Hope you don't get me wrong 👍🏻

Thanks Eirebus for the offer.

Scotchlock was a slip of the tongue on my part, from reading posts on a uk forum, scotchlocks stuck in my noggin.
These would be my choice of connectors.
