Thats the problem with Lidl & Aldi,
Go in for a few groceries and come out with another compressor or similar

For €120. :fgrin:

From what I can tell, they seem to have had good reviews.

Great Price, Kevin. I gave over €2000 for a Esab Powercut 650, 5 or 6 years ago.

We'll see how it goes. I'm not expecting much, but I'm willing to give it a punt at that price! :-)

The gold thing about Lidl & Aldi is that the return policy is brilliant,

If it maulfunctions with in the year 🤫 just return it with the receipt for a refund

Just wondering where will you be able to get the consumables for it?

Saw that and stood over the isle for a little while considering my life choices.

100% wanted it, but couldn't find myself using it any time soon. Truly found no good excuse or situation where I would need this and couldn't just use my angle grinder.

At the end, I didn't take it and I think it was the most grown up decision I've ever made. A defining moment in my life, way more significant that getting married or buying a house :D :D

I had the same dilemma yesterday. Will I, wont I, will I...... Eventually I said, fukit, why not and walked to the till with one in my hand. The price was hard to ignore. Hopefully I haven't bought an expensive doorstop like that gasless Lidl Mig I bought years ago, hateful machine...!

I'm playing with the idea of making custom weathervanes for a bit of extra income. This should be handy for cutting out the tin work. :-)

This one has a 3 year warranty! I'd better keep that receipt in a safe place!

It has a PT31 torch so the consumables should be easy to come by, at least they're available on Amazon and ebay and they're pretty cheap. I haven't checked with my local welding supplier yet.

The best way to keep the receipt is to photo it and stick it in a few different files,in 3 years the ink will Probably have faded on the original.

What I normally do is get a marker and write date & wty period on underside of what ever I buy, then take photo of receipt and email it to my self putting receipt for plasma cutter in subject bar, easily found at a later date if its worth looking for,
