Won 2 tickets to the Horslips gig on TG4 in 2007.

Could have happily moved on that night.

U2 Croke Park 1987, Joshua tree homecoming tour..... long before mobile phones and the atmosphere was astounding..... have seen them dozens of times since but that concert was out of this world.....
I was probably the right age, carefree, and in the right mood...
Superb memories.

Favourite gig - When Michael Jackson played Pairc ui Chaoimh in '88.

I would love to have seen Queen when they played Wembley or Knebworth in '86.

So many but these ones stand out....

Friday of Glastonbury 1999, our first one
..
R.E.M.
Beautiful South
Hole
Bush
Blondie
Barenaked Ladies
Ian Dury
Björn Again

Other Glastonbury's:
Coldplay (fantastic live)
REM
DON McLean singing a Buddy Holly Song
Lilly Allen (2007, the wettest year on record, the only performer that cheered us up)
Billy Bragg
Neil Young
Bruce Springsteen
The magic numbers
Willie Nelson
Seasick Steve (the first time)
Patti Smith (wow!)
Paul Weller
Damien Rice singing Amy, my daughter's name and my daughter dancing on my shoulders.

Other festivals and concert's, bands that really made an impact:
The Hot Sprockets
Super Turbo Ninja club
Barley Mob
Wallis Bird

Bands that were the best Craic ever;
The Twisted Sisters
Bare naked Ladies

There are more that I can't remember at the minute, and hundreds more that were great but just don't stick in my head the way the others do.
