Just came across this on Done Deal, It appears it can be driven on a Car licence, any views of the suitability of this as a back up to a Motorhome?

These are awesome.

Sister in law had a 125cc version of it. Grip from the front was amazing.

After a few hours on it I had the back end drifting on a large roundabout. The front was gripping like chewing gum!

Great but quite heavy for a scooter/trike. It about 260kg. You would need a good payload or trailer

That is 500cc but how heavy would a 125cc be? another thing I read somewhere that it could be driven with a Car licence in Ireland, what about the rest of Europe?

I see a 125 is 199 kg, same as a large motorcycle. My yamaha majesty 125 is about 140kg. I think you need a motorcycle licence for them

Don't know about the 500cc, but from memory the 125 was a motorcycle.

If I recall, the rule is......... if the front wheels are less than 18" apart, they class as a single wheel.

According to the NDLS website, category A vehicle includes motorcycle and motor tricycles, so you would need bike licence - in ROI anyway.

The 125 and 250cc have wheels that are 420mm apart which falls into a scooter category. The 400 and 500cc are465mm spacing which is a trike and requires the different licence
