Sliding door. Mind the gap

Anybody got a genius quick fix solution for pulling in and sealing the top left hand corner on a sliding door van conversion ?
It would also act as extra security from inside.

The link that I posted was only an example. I paid no attention to measurements, sizes, styles,etc.
I think that "Compression lever latches" is the name given to them in the trade.
