Crossing Germany This Winter

Please note that the law is changed in Germany to the use of Snow Tyres, This is now when there is snow on the road not by dates . The tyres fitted must have a M+S and a frost symbol on the side.

I think it’s the three peaks mountain snowflake symbol that’s now mandatory. Lots of all season tyres have this on them.

I was just looking at tyres yesterday and noticed that the latest Continental Vanco Camper tyres have the 3PMSF marking on them now, I don't know if they have changed compounds but they look the same as the older ones but now have 10 ply rating instead of 8 and the wet grip is now A rated if you believe that stuff.
