Benen , can’t really follow your thread ,correct me if I’m wrong you have a 220/240 volt plug in your camper with a 12 volt plug hole ie for a cigarette lighter beside it or is it a two pin plug if it’s the latter yes you can get an adapter for it .its simaler to a Euro plug you would get if you where going on holadays ,hope this helps if you could post some photos of it it would give us a better idea of what your looking for 👍

If your van is a European make (especially German) some used to use the Hella type pin for 12 volt.

If you need a plug LIKE THIS there are adapters available.
Search for Din Hella adapter

Yes you can get one from Donaghys it's an adaptor that brings the small 12v socket up to standard size like on your dash

Great post. Was just going to ask same question. I changed my van recently and bought a lefty Hymer which has the smaller 12v socket. Great info as usual lads.

Yip, my BMW motorbike has what looks like a cigarette lighter 12V plug, but it is smaller.

Another option is to replace the plug with the smaller Euro one. Think I've one lying about if you are stuck 👍

I just braved the leftovers of Storm Callum to head out to the garage in my bare feet......

I do indeed have a plug, let me know if you need it

If you need it, pm me details. I will post it to you and you can owe me a pint if we ever meet 👍

Alternatively, look up 12v male din plug on eBay.... multiples of them if you need more than one.
