I remember when storms just came and went and were just part of the weather that we lived with as part of the terms and conditions of being on an island at the edge of Europe.

You see that couldn't of stayed just that. How would we of known what sex the storm was? Hmm then again, that's being gender specific, maybe we need to rethink the storm names.

Ali can be either, so we are ok whilst Ali is blowing.

9.30 Dublin, definitely stormier in last half hour in Sublin...house alarms going off, we are only supposed to be on edge if it, though it looked much worse in NI forecast last night, but looks ok for weekend for those of us away.

And also people lived until they were 40, but I guess they died like real men?

Even with all the warnings, etc... still 2 people died down here due to the storm.

Neighbor didn't pay any attention to it and the shite he had lying around his garden broke a couple of windows, glass shatter went pretty close to his 2 yrs old boy.

We've messed with mother nature too much, now she's angry and at least we have people smart enough out there to warn us in advance.
