Nice Jack , looks in great condition. Health to enjoy.

I seen one of them a few weeks back and thought of you, it wasn't exactly in that condition though, this must of been the green model as it had a tree going through it.

It’s almost impossible to get a GTi now and if one did they are fetching big money if in good condition.

We've only got two Citroen's (daily drivers) but I don't think they'd quite fit in with what you've got in the shed, stone age steel springs all around.

The picasso did have air springs at the back, but I replaced them with steel springs when one failed because I couldn't be sure the compressor wasn't close to failure too.

Any current Citroen models using the hydraulic system now?

Unfortunately there’s no real Citroens now a days since PSA took them over. The good old suspension that made then famous is done away with. The last true Citroen to be built was the C6 and fortunately I’ve got one of them.

Almost impossible to get a good DS and if one did they are big money. A DS in good condition is in the region of £30,000. One was so.d recently for £39,000. I think I’ve answered your question. I would need a few extra Sundays in the year to be able to afford one of them. 😝

Maybe a silent collection on special days, you could pass it off as providing
support to French Veterans and their new retirement home. ;-)

No Xantia?

I've never owned a Citroen and I've only been in one once, back in the 90's when a sales rep showed me his new company car. I'll never forget it. It was a Xantia Activa (with the active lean suspension). He horsed it around corners and roundabouts and it didn't budge. super handling and no body roll. Weird experience but good fun.

Looks high in the back for a car that doesnt have the engine running?

I thought they settled down a lot more on the back axle when not running?

Don’t know if you have seen one of these. It looks great. Couldn’t figure if they have recovered a van or made the panels.

Saw it at Dusseldorf too, Its a regular van (panel van conversion) with a 'body kit', the kit is something like an extra €25k, but it does look cool :*
