Sadly we wish to inform all our loyal customers and friends, that we will be closing on 1st September. This is due to the planning issues we have been battling over the last few months. We hope to get this planning situation resolved and will keep everyone up to date here on our Facebook page.

It's definitely a good spot we use it regularly. Hope they get permission sorted as I would definitely miss it.

I wonder if the Campsite around the corner have anything to do with it closing? I do know we called to the campsite and they were fully booked out last year and I asked was there any other place locally where I could park up for the night and they said no and gave me an address of some place about 50 miles away. I suppose we must give them the benefit of the doubt, they might not know about the Air around the corner🤨

They know about it alright Pat and I wouldn't be surprised if they had raised objections to the facility. I think Craic members could help by E mailing Donegal council to plead for an outcome that would help both the motorhome community and local business.

We were in Campers at the weekend and he is doing a great job with the place. He has extended it and there is plenty of space. The toilets are very clean. Its a great spot an I hope he gets sorted soon.

Was very disappointed to hear this too. We've stayed there several times and it's a fantastic place, spotlessly clean, great pitches, lovely showers and toilets and the owner is a gentleman.

Might try and get up over the next few weeks before he closes.

Will definitely be emailing Donegal Co Co in relation to this.

I’ve just heard a rumour that Bundoran Camper Park has just been granted planning to reopen.
Can anyone confirm this? 🤔

From social media:
We are delighted to announce that after a long wait we have finally had our planning approved. We would like to thank all our loyal customers for their support and help with letters, emails and comments, that have helped us get the planning issue sorted. Thanks also to the local Councillors who have fought tirelessly on our behalf to get this passed. With this said we will reopen the park on Monday 13th September and hope to see you all soon.

Many Thanks from all at Bundoran Campers.
