Anyone have a 2 way compressor fridge fitted to their van running on 12V ?

Anyone know how good are they compared to a 3 way Fridge running on gas?

Seems a lot of the newer van conversions are now coming with these fitted!

My brother in law has just fitted a new 2 way to his vw conversion he seems to like it says it runs very well on the 12 volt ,but again he always uses sites where he can hook up ,not much good if your somewhere like dicks field for a few days as little fridges ten to loose temperature opening and closing the door
