I don't know if any of you have noticed. But I have a sneaky suspension that campingcarparks are taking over the management of public Aire's in France.
It seams every week I get a mail from them about 12 or 20 new sites, I know some of which were public Aire's

https://campingcarpark.com/en/the-passetapes/ Access to these aires is with a card you can pay and get the card at the entrance to these sites or which I felt easier purchase the card on line knowing the problems associated with French payment machines

I don't suppose there is any chance of them taking g an interest in Ireland.

I have used these sites about 6 times this summer on two occasions I had difficulty entering or leaving the site help was on hand by phone English spoken. Both my wife and I felt very secure and relaxed and can highly recommend this company

The only crib I have with them is that having followed their recomdation to their latest site in Pont-Aven, I had trouble getting in as the entry card swiper was on the side, then there was no EHU. Which was supposed to be included in the €12. When I phoned them to complain, and explained that I would have been better off parked in the free carpark on the way into town with 6 other vans, I got a very nice person who spoke English, although I got an apology I didn't get any discount ,only that they would open the barrier if I wanted to leave.

My Taught exactly, but its seems to be the way things are going, and I still would say how could we get them interested in Ireland.

Very simple.
PROFIT.
But as anyone who conducted business here, knows that taxes, levies, rates and other deductions thought up by Merrion square, there's a big difference between pre tax profits and post tax profits
