Forest Park is still there and currently is receiving some reinvestment/ refurbishment for its 50th anniversary. Lovely walks, nature trails etc. and there had been talk of mountain bike trails.
The campsite fell into disrepair and eventually closed soon after it was sold along with the closed down History Park. It was to reopen again last year but we drove past it last Sunday and it was overgrown but a new sign had been installed with the name Sperrin Caravan Park.

Positive news Paul, let’s hope it gets going again. I Remember being there a long long time ago when I was a child, have drove through it since but looked abandoned, be great to see that amenity up and going once more.
