High clutch pedal.

I have a Talbot express 1300d 1992 diesel, it was parked up for about 8 months or so, when I recently got it road legal again I have noticed that the clutch pedal is very high, a good 6 inch's higher than the accelerator, it feels like it is driving ok, I do not remember it being so high, Would anyone have any suggestions as to how or if it can be fixed? a mechanic has tried adjusting the relevant nuts.

Hi Liam,

I have a 1993 Talbot Express based MH the clutch pedal is very high on it too, done 3500 mls this summer without a problem, have you checked its not slipping? in case you don't know change from 1st to 5th gear, if there's a significant raising of revs then its slipping. Hope this helps. :D

Mine is a 1990 Talbot Express and the clutch is also very high, but it seems to be ok.
