Tyre pressure monitoring system

A helpful member on motorhomeowners.org has posted on there that Tyre pal are offering 20% off their system over the bank holiday. The code is MAYDAYTP18

The system normally costs £99 so a £20 reduction is pretty decent. I had been looking at the cheap and cheerful versions on eBay for about £40 but was not convinced by the mixed reviews.

This offer brings the cost to £84 inc postage. But has solid reviews, including by motorhomers, so I have bit the bullet. No more pocket money for a few months, but as a reviewer on an amazon seller pointed out, if it saves the cost of one tyre by alerting you to a problem then it will have paid for itself. Especially if the tyre is a Michelin aglis camping tyre. It could save an expensive catastrophe to the van as well.

The offer is on the official tyre pal site.

None on my van, it is a Hymer on fiat/Alko chassis. I believe a 2015 model possibly built sometime in 2014. I can’t remember when they became mandatory on new build cars or if the law applied to ‘commercial’ vans.

I have the Tyre Pal in a box for about 18 months so I must get round to fitting them on. 😝

I have been using tyrepal for about 4 years , great piece of kit and i would definitely recommend it.I picked a slow puncture up on my trip over last year and it warned me straight away .Battery's in the caps just starting to run out (had to replace one ) so the 2 years it states they last is well exceeded.
