Looking under MH, chassis is starting to rust.
Rang our mechanic who gave us a name of a panel beater
To rub down chassis and reseal it...€200 - €250.
Does this sound reasonable.? Don’t feel like lying underneath doing it myself.

If done properly, I'll have to say that it does sound fair.

Consider getting the chassis AND underside of the floor sealed, as part of the process make sure the floor is checked for any moisture ingress and have it attended to if there is.
There's no point in having a sound chassis below a rotting floor.

Left MH in last week for overnight, when examined only the back part of chassis needed to have rust treated as rest was galvanised.
He treated the underside of floor too. €150. Workshop called Drivers on small road beside Avoca Handweavers in Kilmacanogue.
