Ally,

Just noticed that one of the previous reviews of Lowtown Marina disappeared when my review was added. It was a fairly informative review if I remember correctly. Is it too later to recover it?

Mark.

I delete old reviews that were carried over from the old map when I get updated reviews, this way the information stays current. New reviews go on the top of older reviews, but the old map format doesn't really suit the App.

In saying all that, I suppose I should of read the bloody thing before deleting it!

In fairness it says what needs to be said.. Its a quiet location for a stopover with toilets and no black waste. So not a problem :-)

Maybe you could add these to the app.. :-/ It says that, " there is no copyright on this map"
https://www.google.com/maps/d/…316961&z=7

Looks good but how would we know if the area's are suitable for Motorhomes?

Thats a great list. However there are some on there that i am fairly sure arent suitable, i think ill give the one on the connor pass in dingle a miss :-).

That said, i have no doubt there are many great POI's on there.

The climb to the top from the Dingle side is perfectly fine with a parking area at the top, overnighting there midweek might also be alright in good weather but boy racers could ruin the experience at the weekends. The stretch from the top down towards Castlegregory would be shear madness in anything bigger than a Transporter.

Very accurate comment from BM - do not attempt to go from top from conor pass north to Kilmore cross in anything over 2ton or greater 1.8m wide. You will get stuck and have to reverse around corners (esp if you meet a rental car)- it can take 30 mins sometimes to sort out.

BTW that map is a gem.
Pity its not countrywide !

Probably a silly question...but how does one know if the Craic map is the paid for version or the free one.
Is the subscription automatically renewed or when has it to be renewed??

the free version only has campsites and the paid version has red dots for the "wild spots"

If you have bought the paid version it automatically renews until you cancel the subscription
