Most definitely Paul and I made my views known quite loudly on their stand at the NEC and was rushed away I might add.

It's a manufacturing defect. I have no idea how many of those vans they sold, say its 5000 of the varying models of that design, that's how many owners are now nervous wrecks. It has not only happened to me but others also. On a French site they have photos of what some owners are doing to fix the defect and hopefully stop the worst happening. I am sure there are others that the drop down bed has fell.

So I assume there eagerness to move you away is in fact embarrassment of an inferior product they have manufactured and failed to fix for the owners.

Dicksons of Perth sold me a damp van, whether it is a manufacturing defect or not, I bough the van from Dicksons of Perth and it was damp when it was sold to me.

Ally,
I do not know if you are aware of it or not but Rapido have taken their dealership away from Dicksons and given it to Scott vans just up the road by the Mercedes showroom, Dicksons can still sell Itineo but not Rapido so I can see a distance emerging between them. Also Rapido are now badging their Dreamer vans as Dreamer by Rapido but not the Itineo.

Should help your legal case in that the court have already found him to be a proven liar.
And that the laws do not apply to him.
And really he earns £25,000 a year!!

Well, we knew he was a ******* in the way he treated you, this only confirms that he is a complete +++++++ +, be interesting to know what he will get away with. might also be one of the reasons why he lost one of his dealerships.

Fact, he was drink driving, fact according to the court he caused an accident, fact according to the reporter he drank wine after getting home but the court found him guilty of drink driving. Fact whilst banned from driving he drove again.
Fact not his first offence.
Fact he told the court he earns £25,000 per year.
Fact he knows the law yet disregards it.

Fact would I buy a motorhome from him? No.

I think the point to be highlighted here, is the fact that he deliberately and dishonestly took or claimed to have taken the drink on his return home.
This amounts to deception and it is a small step to bringing these behaviours to his business dealings.

This is the sales man that sold me the damp Itineo. Click to read.

Drunken car dealer wrote off family’s vehicle then threatened violence.

This is exactly the kind of person that i would hope to never have the misfortune of have to be doing a deal with, i also see that he has a previous conviction from 2008 for a similar offence.
This may go some way in explaining the response that you got Ally when you requested some after care,i just hope that future customers do some research before parting with their hard earned money because it would appear that this company only do sales, NOT AFTER SALES CARE.

This is what Itineo thought was good enough to hold a double bed up....

(ignore the lines drawn on the wood)

More of Itineos shoddy workmanship, the bonnet catch broke off...

We are making great progress with the work and it's going to be a lot better and stronger than new.

I hope Dicksons of Perth and ITENIO are reading these reports? Shame on both of the the way Ally has been treated and ignored. I’ve advised a few people not to buy one.

Ally, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask so you could know who you were dealing with.

It would put me off buying off Dicksons of Perth as they have yet to make comment on their after sales service.
