Planning to visit the Giants Causeway & the Carrickarede Rope bridge, wondering was there any where to wild camp? Heard Ballintoy?

ballintoy is good, see pic

leave it until daytrippers leave, traffic can be wild.
toilets open all night
2 water taps front of toilet block for fresh water
good cafe for breakfast and snacks
if you do go early it is unlikely you can park at waters edge cos of daytrippers, park in car park behind toilets until most of daytrippers leave then move forward, great view !!

also mcginns pub,(carrickarede hotel) on main road before ballintoy, buy drinks or meal in the pub, park in rear car park, mccni overnight stop.

it is stunning,
2 viewpoints, park as in photo and look across headland, or park at harbour wall and look out across harbour.
great sandy beach in front of car park and to the right of the harbour is a long sweeping sandy beach.

enjoy.......

With a possible Northern Lights show tomorrow night it might be worth heading up to...anyone else likely to go? (from 10pm onwards)
