Hi all, just took out ADAC European Breakdown with vehicle and passenger repatriation included with no age restrictions on van. The policy covers the person so any car in Ireland, UK or abroad is covered including when your partner is driving. They are a German company with >17 million (yes million) members so I would bet they have some clout with any sub contracting they do in various countries. All that for 90 euro for annual membership and all taken care of by a phone call to 004994155673. They phoned me back when they said they would and a lady (Barbara Lorenz I think) dealt with me very efficiently with impeccable engish. PLeanty of history on other forums re feedback. Some talk of a e200 limit to towing charge but if you have Dolmen insurance with breakdown (but not repatriation, which is their standard motorhome package) then you could use them for breakdown if thats an issue for you.
