Flap keeps sticking on my toilet cassette, won't open for ages then go back a few hours later and it's free - weird :-/

I took it out and lubricated the mechanism with silicone Spray, still sticking... anyone came across it before?

Thanks.

I usually find roughage or lots of Guinness useful for maintaining and unsticking the flaps on my chemical toilet. :D
