Atlantic park in Enniscrone is basic but right on the edge of town. you can walk up the main road into town or go along the beech which is accessible from the park.
the beech is class, there's a huge playground behind the hotel and loads of restaurants, pubs etc in the town.
Strand hill campsite is right in strand hill, Sligo. A smaller village but nice also.

Let me know if you need more

If you like peace and quiet there's The Holiday Park at Killybegs. The name would suggest something different as it is really just a couple of flat parking areas scraped out of a cliffside with portacabin toilet block, however the toilets/showers are spotless , the views are terrific and the owner is super nice and friendly. He has also made a pathway down to a private little shingle beach area , lovely. We used this as a secure base to explore the peninsula on the scooter but others used their MH to do the same returning to the site in the evening. ie Slieve League ( highest sea cliffs in Europe), Malin Beg, Glencolumbkille, Ardara ( waterfall and caves) and everywhere in between - all the roads have been recently resurfaced , nice smooth driving. Don't miss the fish and chips in Killybegs or the other fresh caught sea food.

Superb site.

If you want a really great family site with tons and tons of children's activities including climbing walls, swimming pool, tennis courts, football pitches, young children's play areas, gym, canoeing, bike areas and bikes for rent too, shop and much much more, then a site in Kerrykeel in Donegal is fantastic. Rockhill caravans and camping, right on edge of town too with nice pub with quite acceptable food also.
It's €30 a night, including EHU... So not exactly cheap, however the facilities are 1st rate.
Thoroughly recommended.
