Read the following with caution please.

Enler Delta Blues Club in Comber Rec is on every third Saturday of every month.

Originally permission was gained by Bertie & Dee for a few vans to arrive, visit the club and stay over for the night. It has been that successful that I approached them the last time I was there and they are more than happy to have a lot more MOTORHOMECRAIC vans, currently up to 8 or so vans visit at present.

The parking is at the opposite end of the football pitch behind the stand and as far down as possible as not to block other visitors. If this is full, and we are talking about maybe 10 - 12 vans at the very most, then please do not park there, park outside the REC near the recycling car park, which is quite huge. Please visit Comber Town and we do recommend McBrides for something to eat and a few drinks, do mention that you are parked at the REC in your Motorhome and you are there for the Blues night.

VERY IMPORTANT:

DO NOT turn up at any other time other than when the blues nights are on, every third Saturday of every month. You are not welcome at any other time and will be asked to move. You can arrive from 1PM.

Please support the Club, pints are currently at £2.80, entry is £5, the atmosphere is great and we have had many a good night in it.

Just been reminded by Stuarty that occasionally it is £10 entry, depneding on who is playing.

Also the blues club is on also for a Sunday Jam Session, which finishes at 6pm, you can also stay over Sunday night but please ask permission on Saturday night.

Not sure if blues is our scene, but we might try it August. Not available June & Prob not July.
We are looking for any excuse to go out in Bessie. Preferably not alone til we get used to the wold camping scene.

My first post here.

I go to (and play at) the Enler Delta Blues Club. There are gigs most Saturday nights and people often stay over - there is no charge for this. It's a very welcoming and friendly place.

Please note, the Blues Jam happens once a month on the Sunday after the third Saturday (not always the same as the third Sunday) from 3.0pm to around 6.0pm. Entry is free and all players and singers have an opportunity to get up and entertain.

We were told by Norman that Motorhomes were only welcome on the Blues Night, third Saturday of the month.

Hi machinehead welcome to the craic ,have been meaning to go to comber a few times I also play mostly blues but have never got round to it ,our bass players son has played at it and says it's great on the open night ,so hope to get to it soon,

From Norman, as you are aware there is a blues night on the 3rd Saturday and they also try to arrange for a rock band on the first Saturday, but this is not always possible. Then there is a blues jam on the 3rd Sunday. Basically MHC members are welcome to overnight at any of these events with the same provisos listed in the first post by Ally.
