2006 Fiat ducato starting problems

Anybody had starting problems with a 2.8 ducato 2006 model, Swift Kontiki.
Engine turning but not firing up.
The computer fault code is P1320 Timing / Revs Synchronization.
Both camshaft and crankshaft sensors have been changed and new belt fitted in my local garage.
Strangely she will try to start on one of the two ignition keys.
Another garage has said it may be something to do with the fact the immobilizer was removed about two years ago as it was giving problems going off in the night.
I lock her now with the key.
Cant remember the name of the immobilizer system but it was fitted when new by Todd's motorhome dealers in England
I have spoken to the auto electrician who removed it but he says that is NOT the problem.
Nothing wrong with any fuel pressure tests either.
Any help will be welcome

Have a "leak off" test done on the injectors first.
Have you had it diagnosed by a proper model specific computer or just the EOBD reader?...... EOBD reader will only show generic faults and not manafactured specific ones...... just a thought.
Acting on the fault you have found ..... the cam/crank sensors may be OK but both may be out of sync and the timing may need pinning out and checking to be 100% sure.

It could be that one of the keyways on the crankshaft or camshaft pulleys has broken and caused one of them to move. The timing marks would still be lining up.

I have that version of Fiat engine - never had a problem with starting except once when I let the battery run down.

Thanks everybody for the info so far.
To give more detail this started of as one of those annoying intermittent faults that only happened about once every 2 months.
Each time was the same, engine cranking over fast but not making any attempt to start but I only had to wait about 2-3 minutes and then she would start first turnover.
Last weekend I stopped to post a parcel and when I got back in, no start.
This time I wanted to get the problem fixed so I got towed to a garage about 5 minutes away.
I asked for a computer scan to be done before I would start her up and the fault I mentioned showed up.
At that stage I told the mechanic that she would probably start OK now.
And sure enough first turn of the key she started, so I then drove to my local garage hoping they would find the fault.
Has been on 3 different computers so far including the one from the Auto sparks who removed the immobilizer but all 3 show the same fault.

P1320 Timing / Revs Synchronization

As I said in the first post, both camshaft and crankshaft sensors have been changed and new belt fitted.
The fact she is not starting at all now I will get the the keyways of the crankshaft and camshaft pulleys checked tomorrow.
Thanks lads

Great news this afternoon, my son has found a broken wire going to the cam sensor on the Kontiki.
Hopefully my starting troubles are now over.
The computer fault code P1320 Timing / Revs Synchronization was correct after all.
2 weekends at home, I would not wish it on my worst enemy.
Last weekend wasn't to bad as we were still able to go by car to where we intended to take the motorhome, the annual valentines steak dinner in Loughgall Football club.
The wife doesn't partake of the devils buttermilk so I have a driver to bring me home.
This info might help other Fiat 2.8 drivers. 2000 - 2006 models.
