Just thinking that a list of campsites open all year round might be handy for folks touring all year round,

A few that spring to mind,

Camac valley Dublin,

Glen of aherlow Tipperary

Battle bridge Leitrim

Beleek ballyvary co mayo by prior arrangement (it was in 2012)

Cloghervally co Tyrone

That's all I can think of at the minute,

Please add if you know any more

Edit Nov2019, Aires added to the list

Jordanstown not sure of the name possibly Loughshore? Bus stops right outside and runs into city centre taxi out again costs around a tenner. Usually stay here for a night to visit the Continental market. Very safe and secure although quite noisy as it is on a busy road (we live in the country so not used to road noise!) and sometimes get the little boy racers outside the campsite in the carpark - no threat as campsite entry in with pin code but noise may bother you!!

How does one book for the Loughshore? Would be interested in going to the Christmas Market and staying there as I can get the bus free now. Does anyone know if the one at the Ice Bowl at Dundonald is open?

Jack if you google Loughshore caravan park it should come up. The buses do run out again but dont stop just outside the park -we just found it easier to jump in a taxi - but with your pass you could check it out. Park isn't manned someone just calls to clean the toilets and possibly check all is ok. When you book online they give you a pincode that gets you entry. Would recommend it for your trip to the Continental market

Can definitely confirm cloughey holiday village is a non runner called in 28 dec was told nobody has stayed here for a while in any of their touring pitches since initial owners had went bankrupt! New owners have taken over, will await the outcome. Further down the road ballywhisken caravan site open but no amenities water turned off! ie. no toilets or water fills etc. such a pity lovely part of the world. Decided to drive to tollymore, the best there is in the winter months!

Ally says Sneem is all year round.
Im interested in this too.
Thanks for all the info.
Just be aware Hillfoot in Dungiven doesn't allow what he believes to be dangerous dogs.
If you have a big dog, better check with him first.

We were in Tree Grove in Kilkenny last week and asked Dan if he's open all year- he said well we'll never turn you away. Great spot and a lovely 20 minute walk into Kilkenny.
