This request reminds me of hearing relativies tell about having to take sods of turf to school so that a fire could be lit to keep them warm!! Mind you there was no reference to bringing beer or wine!

The Titanic Quarter on the Sunday is proving very hard to organise, I thought it would of quietened down by now but no it still needs to be booked, the time slot I wanted is already booked out 3 days ago. Unless I do a group booking we have no chance of all us having the same time booking. Fear not we are organising something else, it might not be as dramatic but it will be free :-)

Well The August Bank Holiday Weekend was certainly a 'craicer'. And it was lovely to put faces to names and meet again with others that we had met at previous meetings.

But we must firstly thank our 'entertainers' (no not you Ally) but Ron for his bango playing skills on the Friday night which was superb as we sat around a roaring fire and listented to some terrific music - Thank you Ron. And then on Saturday night we had the service of our very own 'inhouse' DJ Vicktor, thank you Vicktor for spining the discs and the lazer lights, much appreciated.

And im sure the smokers would like to thank Ally and Julie for letting them smoke in a 'bar' -first time that has happened in years LOL

All in all we had a fabulous couple of days, i think we could sum up the weekend with, Wine, Beer, Music, Camp Fires and a lot of laughter (mainly at each other).

Again many thanks to all that attended and all that provided the entertainment, and roll on the next meeting.

Dee

ps Ally, reversing into an empty turf bag was - well, i wouldnt be surprised if david blaine the magician gets in contact :D :D

Certainly was good craic on the Saturday night Deirdre, a funny evening with lots of laughs. Our first Saturday Night Madhouse seemed to go well and I think next time it is quite likely the 'bar' will be packed to capacity. I'm still chuckling at Ally and the big man doing the Gay Bar routine. I glad you all had a great weekend and enjoyed the evening, and yes I hope to get to know you all a lot better as time goes on. I'm great remembering faces, but have difficulty remembering names lol.

Here's to the next one

p.s.
Ha Ha! We should also have had a lottery with a pair of these included as a prize. There were a couple of contenders!
