Hi to everyone,

I live in England and was looking for reviews regarding the Millenco 900 and came across this site..

To let you know we have now been to five locations since i fitted a Millenco 900 to my caravan in April and had perfect tv reception at all sites with no pixilation.

At two of those locations, The Forest of Bowland Lancashire and Keswick in the Lake District, we have never been able to receive a digital tv picture in the past but this time the Millenco 900 picked up all the freeview channels perfectly which amazed me.

Our friends, who were with us, have a Status 530 fitted and as usual it failed to get any picture what so ever in the Forest of Bowland and only last weekend we watched another couple try their best to tune in their log ariel, failing miserably.

Dont go off what some other people are saying on other forums as they have not even tried it yet so how would they know how good it is.

Would certainly recommend with out any doubt.

Hope this helps.

Hi Paul - thanks for that - I fitted mine today and was amazed to pick up all the Irish channels in deepest Co Mayo. My only worry when i saw it was the size of it but up to now am really pleased with it. All in all money well spent!

Have been to a lot of places now and we have never failed to get all full channels!

My only complaint? in Dongahadee it picked up three of everything, BBC1 Scotland, BBC1 NI & BBC ONE, the same with all the other stations :D - brilliant aerial!

Hi Dave,

The delivered price would be €130.
We have them ordered so they should be here this week or next week.
On our website we have free delivery for orders over €150 so if you wanted to add 30 euro's worth to the antenna then the whole lot would be free delivery totally up to yourself. :-)
This is the link to the Milenco 900L Antenna

Hi Dave,

I checked with the guys here and I'm afraid it wouldn't work that way as you expected. Sorry about that.
We got a delivery from Milenco today so chances are the Milenco 900L Antenna's are probably in it. :-)
I can have it delivered to you by Monday at the latest if you were still interested.

Kind regards
Michael

I think I read somewhere that the base of the milenco is large enough to cove up the hole left by removing the status aerial, so all that would need to be done is fix it to the roof and use the existing cable. Try the milenco web site for the info. The base is the same on the low and standard except for heiht.

Dave mine was changed over in 25 mins. The old status and pole and cable and power box removed and new milenco fitted. The base covers the hole and was sealed down. New cable and power box fitted.
There is no pole on the milenco.

Fitted the low profile version of the Milenco antenna, back in August.
On testing it, I received 122 channels. Although these were from two transmitters, reception was better that the house roof mounted, high gain directional aerial.

Touring, in the motorhome, has produced excellent results, both in the UK, France, Belgium, Luxembourgh and Germany.
Trying it on the DFDS car park, at Dunkirk, I picked up UK tv, BBC, ITV etc, as well as the local French channels.

I'm really pleased with it, and so called experts, who say that omnidiretional aerials can't be as good as diretional ones, will have to rethink their ideas.

On the roof of our low profile, it is approx 2-3 inches higher than our stowed Oyster Sat system.

Well sadly my Milenco is no more! I had the taller version on the van and was travelling along the M5 doing about 60 overtaking a lorry the buffeting was quite strong. A double bang and it was gone. It was only when I stopped that I noticed it had come off. I checked it in Spain recently and it was fine so a bit disappointing. I a, hoping that no one suffered any damage from antenna.

Thankfully no problems with mine so far, did you perhaps knock it of a tree beforehand? or I wonder was the screw lose that holds it to the bottom bit?

Anyone using this Antenna, have you noticed any deterioration in it? ours doesn't seem to be as good as it once was. I haven't took it apart yet to see if there is any corrosion, and it may be our wiring etc

Just wondered has anyone noticed any issues?
