Hi,

Have read all the threads and topics and looking for a point in the right direction, I am very interested in the Snipe pro Satellite sytem and looking for a supply and fit price...

As we are getting more use out of the MH its time for an upgrade and that looks like a very good choice from what i have been reading..

Thanks in advance..
Mick

Hi Mick.
I have a snipe and recently had it transfered onto a new van but Simon at LTS. Advert at the top of this page.
It would be possible to fit yourself but I prefer to get it done in case I don't deal the roof gland correctly as LTS are authorised installers.

Simon supplied and fitted it originally too but he would be a but of a trip for you.

Hi Mick, I will be watching how you fare out with the snipe pro. I'm also based in cork and am looking for a reasonably priced system. I would probably fit it myself but would like to see what comes as a package first. Paulc

Hi Paul,

I have not made a booking yet for it to be fitted but leaning in that direction, as for fitting it myself I think this time I will leave it to the experts as knowing my luck there would be leaks and it would end up communicating with the International Space Station.... 🇧🇭

Nothing like attacking a brand new roof with a hole saw! Using the right sealer is the truck. Spending two and a half grand on an Oyster system just doesn't make sense and a status aerial is no use in France.

Looks like it is going to be Wales and maybe Scotland this year, intend to travel around the North also during the warmer rain season.....

Just as an update I never could justify the expense for the Snipe system... so I have made do with a good old free to air system behind the van and a sat tuner results are good and consistent so mostly happy with that..

The Status system in the MH never worked but after some dismantling a very small blown fuse was located in the booster box and replaced, new coaxial cable was run to the TV point and digital TV was working perfectly fine so we will work away with that for a while..
