Hey folks,

I reckon the Wicklow Gap will be our route for Saturday. Am just wondering if this is do-able in the motorhome or is it really steep? It is a Conor Pass kinda situation???? :D

You should have no problem wth the Wicklow Gap. There is a short steep climb coming out of Holywood but after that you should be ok. When I had one I towed a caravan across the Gap many times.

You'll be fine Bronagh. The road is tight enough at times but it's mainly wide open mountaion road, you can see for miles and it's so quiet it's not a problem.

And you don't have those crazy overhangs that would scare the bejaysus out of you on the Conor Pass or the ring of Kerry :o

It's beautiful so sit back and enjoy the drive
