Is Broderick an Irish name?

Hi, Paul here. Sorry about the uninspirational user name! Planning a trip to Ireland (South and North) in June/July in our Hymer 654 and was looking for info on 'free camping' around Ireland. Recently toured Scotland where they have a 'right to roam' unlike us miserable English and it was great. Some talk about discontinuing it due to a small number of irresponsibles leaving a mess. Just wondered what the situation is in Ireland. Came accross your website on Google and thought I'd give you a try. Looks like I've found the right place!
