Places to stay near Rosslare

Hi,

I'm off to France 2m! Can't wait!

Plan to be in Rosslare area later. Leaving Dublin around 7 this evening.

Looking for recommendations for place to stay, would like to go out for dinner so would like somewhere within walking distance of restaurants. 3 kids on board too.

All advice appreciated.

Thanks

Kevin

I would have recommended St Margarets Beach but no restaurants to walk to.

Lobster Pot is closest by, but still a fair walk away on country roads.

There is a pub on right just before Rosslare Harbour, it serves food and has a car park.

That's the great thing about a motorhome. One can have plans in mind but can alter them at the last moment.

St Margaret's Beach

Anyone know if St. Margaret's Beach campsite, Rosslare is still in business? Not had a reply to email and they are not listed in this years Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Guide. It looks like the ideal first stop in Eire and a good place to meet up with friends.
Any advice would be appreciated. We will be motorhome touring all May 2017.

A couple of numbers here that you could try.
Contact Name:Kathryn Traynor
Contact Phone:053 9131169 / 085 1574650
Their web site seems to be gone as well

You could also consider this site, { Ferrybank } It almost in the town of Wexford and is open all year http://www.camping-ireland.ie/…an-camping

According to these reviews they were opened in august 2016 https://www.tripadvisor.ie/Hot…ml#REVIEWS
