Fridge blowing fuse

Trying to sell our old cravan, 2003, and when I put the fridge on 230v it trips.
Any ideas?

Most usually that's caused by a short in the 220v heating element.

Are the heating elements easy to come by and how much? If you know or have a ballpark figure it would be fantasti :D c.

Its a wee Dometic, can't recall the model number and the caravan is now sold. Having said that, I'd be glad of info for when or if the buyer comes back with a query.
