transit mk2 coachbuilt refurb

Hi all im new here and think this is a great site with helpfull information and a nice bunch of people I have purchased my first campervan its a 1979 mk2 transit in need of some love it will be getting a new interior and a paint job on exterior some rust repair and a new running gear im feeling optimistic and would like to share my project with you all so ill post some pics if someone could guide me through it regards damien :D

I saw an old classic something similar to this earlier this week. Heading northbound from Cork on the N8. Blue cab, maybe a little longer, but in perfect, almost showroom condition.

Fair play to you for taking on a restoration project like this. I love seeing the older vans on the road. It looks in good shape judging by the photos. Best of luck with the restoration and keep us up to date on the progress whenever you can!!

I hope to see it in person some time...

Its nod bad on exterior but was some damp inside and when I removed some timber to see how bad it was it wasnt good some parts are totally rotten ill get some pics up
