Anybody have suggestions for wifi router for home use?
It will need to connect 4 devices sometimes 5 but not all at once,

Have an old one at the moment but the mac has trouble connecting after waking up or start up, ans so does the PC lap top

ADSL? Fibre?

I have an ADSL one here you could have, a Belkin N150, I could give it to Ken at the weekend if it's any good to you.

Thanks ally,

No fibre optic in theese parts I afraid, I'm not sure if it's adsl, I've got a little round thing (a bit bigger than a saucer) on top of a 15 ft pole pulling signal from the transmitter up on top of the hill 5 miles away,

Will your belkin work with that? What do I owe you for it? I can drop the money into ken before he goes if he doesn't mind,

Thanks

ADSL (twin pair copper wire) is over phone lines so I would imagine it won't work with your setup.

What make/model is your existing Router?

What connection from digiweb? is it a normal ethernet connection? RJ45? the same plug that goes into the back of a PC?

If so then it should work, just plug it into one of the 4 ports and set it up. I'll bring it at the weekend and give it to Ken.
