Can you convert/replace a gas only heating system with the gas/electric combi? Is it a big job, currently we have the blown air gas heating with the gas and electric water heater, but had considered changing the unit.

Thanks

Hi jag

In essence it would be a No to an electric conversion,

In terms of additional components,
The circuit boards are different and there are two on the electric/ gas combi's, the heat exchanger is also different and will not accept the heating elements, additional switch also,, not a viable options,

A gas blow air heater would be a more appropriate install, or diesel, if you want to consider these give me a call or mail me;-)
