Planing to go to Scotland for 2 weeks in August, have a rough plan to go up the east coast see the Highlands and back down the west coast. Our 1st time any further north than Edinburgh and would appreciate any info on Camp sites & wild camping sites any where in Scotland.
I think I got a good enough deal on ferry crossing with Stena via Nutt travel ie return for MH +2 @ £208.

Hi Robert
I think that's a good price
In going back in September so looking forward to seeing any new wild site you find.
Girvan harbour is very good stopover it's about 1 hr from ferry so handy if you get a late boat over or an early boat home. We used it twice last year. Clean toilets and quiet short walk to pub and shops.

Some stuff here Smige Not sure if it's any good or not, maybe you could do an experiment while on your hol's and try the various remedies and if any of them actually work or not and post it to Ally's tread forum/topic.php?t=3339 would be great to know the results.

A cream called Anthisan is good as well, we never go anywhere without it ,I got a doing in bathgate with them and Anthisan Cream was the only thing that took the swelling down and the itch away. Good luck
