HDC & ABS

2017 Ducato
Just had the Hill Descent Control not available & now the ABS light come on.
Hadn't used the van for about 12 weeks due to surgery.

Van driving o.k. otherwise.

Anyone have any idea what might be the cause other than leaving it idle for so long.

Without being put on a computer I'd say that you have a wheel sensor problem

I would agree, I don't know where you are, but over the last Four months, we have had a lot of lousy weather conditions, which could have produced a lot of corrosion, bad connections and rust around the area of wheels and Brakes, all of which, electronics don,t like. you may not have any problems udder than bad signals.
