Why are you posting about this, it's really irrelevant.
Who goes to Galway anyway, it's not as if they haven't successfully made the point already that we are not welcome.

I don't need a reason to post. However it was to show that we are made even more unwelcome.

"It seems Galway Corp are turning a blind eye to parking in the Black Box carpark for the moment btw."

It seems to me, the PEOPLE in Galway simply do not want or need Motorhome tourism, anywhere in or around their City, so the Poli-Tic,s they elect are doing exactly what is required of them, keep the that type of unwanted tourism out of our city.

As I’ve said before send all photos and anti Motorhome stuff to the big magazines in the mainland like mmm explaining that there not welcome in these towns when the councils see the negative posts that Motorhomes are not welcome and they are going to loose loads of tourists they may just rethink their mistake it only takes one letter and when it appears in the mag send it to the council

Neither have we and the negative reports coming from it is the real reason.
We have found many very welcoming places , so why give yourself the bother and haste of going to a place like that?

I don't know what you're talking about Lads. Galloway in a lovely area lots of nice walks. Where those odd looking belted, Black and White cattle come from. You got Hawkrigg Camping. on one side and Glentrool Camping on the other side and only an hour from the ferry, 🤔😎😁

It's not just beaches, they're banning ball games from parks as well as the likes of roller skates / blades from parks and the prom. The Craic Police are out in force in Galway. On the plus side, I can't imagine the Gardai enforcing any of this sh*t and GCC won't have the resources when they wipe out businesses in the area with this anti tourist shite.

No surprise there 🙄, what else would one expect from such a bunch of luddites.
County Galway really deserves to be its own island, without a ferry service 😂, or perhaps they should officially replicate the Pale taking a page out of the middle ages

this is starting to get out of control, does no one challenge them at council meetings on the madness they are proposing. The next will be fines for stepping on the cracks in the pavements and a daily charge for breathing

The people, elected them so they are getting exactly what they want, no one is storming the council offices and chucking any Poli-Tic's , head first into the harbor. they are not paying peanuts and getting monkeys.they are electing Monkeys and paying them a very good wage to do their bidding. good luck to them, there will be no chance of them pulling me aside for any offences. unless its on what they consider a bypass.

That is exactly how I see it Martin, also their loss will be to some other towns benefit.
If I go out for a weekend or a few days I will spend my money where I feel welcome.👍
