I bought one of these. Regrets. Tells me I'm in Dublin when I'm in Waterford. Unfriendly instructions. What this space for another 780 coming up for sale if I can't find help ,

I had a 740. Hateful thing.
Took me to low bridges & down L "roads" to cut off a bend in the road.
I got my money back after a fight.

Ok. Got it sorted. But - and it's a big but - I ran a few local destinations and it sent me
off on a circuit of West Waterford ! Uploaded Sygic and got the same result. Ran the same locations through good old Google Maps and got real roads , those being the ones that I and all the locals use.
I imagine that Garmin and the others will work on motorways and national routes .
So I won't bin it. Yet !
