2023 Irish Ferries Fares

Just had an email from Irish Ferries for next years sailings. This seems to be launched much earlier than in previous years.

Shocked at the increase in fares. Mid May out and end June return with inside cabin is now over €1000 return about 20% up on last year and double what it was in 2019 before COVID.

I expect nothing else, trying to get off this Island gets more expensive every year. Thinking its best to leave once.

Try early may to mid June it should be a little cheaper although €1000 will help towards a good holiday in Ireland

Thanks for the heads up. Managed to book next September for €60 more than this year. Had to play about a bit with the dates but going for an extra 4 days to make the most of it. Still €350 more than 2019.

I priced Stena sailing Rosslare to Cherbourg 5 Sep MH upto 8m 2 people outside cabin €420 one way which I didn’t think was too bad.

Christ, that booking interface is horrible if you're any way flexible on dates, even using the edit search you go back to a blank form rather than having the search parameters sticky which would allow you to go back or forward a week or two. At least Stena allow you to take a month view.

Slightly off topic again, sorry, just booked a Brittany ferry return Rosslare to Bilbao out in January back in February it was €1400 for MH upto 8m outside 4 berth pet friendly cabin. That’s about €100 more each way than last year but on the new boat with a free meal included in the price.
