Nice Campsites near Gardaland, Lake Garda

Hi All,

Has anyone been to Gardaland before? I'm going to spend 3 nights in Lake Garda and to to Gardaland one or two of the days. Because I'll be in the same spot for a few nights I'd like to stay in a nice campsite as opposed to an aire / sosta (which they referred to as in Italy?). There doesn't seem to be a lack of choice, I've found a few on Google, I'm just wondering has anyone on here been to a nice one close to Gardaland that they could vouch for as a good spot?

You may check Peschiera del Garda,gps 45 26'23'n 10 41'5 e .ACSI app on your phone and download the maps for the country you intend to visit. Never been but I spotted the above site.

Lake Garda is a beautiful area but as we were in July we found that once we stated that we were only looking for 2nights then no vacancies were available.
We located a good Aires and enjoyed our stay.

I see that you have been recommended Riva del Garda, a very nice town but rather far away, it is in fact located at the northern end of the lake.
I have never been to the campsites that I indicate and therefore I have no verified data.

The closest is probably the Gasparina Campsite ( https://gasparina.com/en/ ).
Further away (slightly):

If you contact them they can give you information on how to reach the amusement park (bus, any shuttles, etc).
In any case, it has large car parks but it is forbidden to stay overnight.

Pay attention to the probable need for reservations, the area is one of the most popular with Germans, Dutch and Austrians and in high season there could be some problems.
