I was going to call at Templars on my recent trip to Wexford where I stayed at Norman view. Templars were taking vans but pub only open at weekends ☹ So I gave it a swerve

We went to hook Thursday night after a 5year hiatus, still one of the most beautiful places to stay , passed templars on Friday lunchtime just to have a look no-one at all there, a bit much for a pub carpark with nothing around it at all. Went on to kilmore Quay for 2 nights €25 a night hard stands were full and plenty in the grass area.

Baffling, a nice place like that, with mh parking , I wonder is it the cost for staying, especially when there’s loads of country pubs on the app that don’t charge, if people stay a couple of nights, that’s 40 euros, every body’s different suppose, when Charlie done that YouTube video I thought it would be rammed

And, no discount or rebate if spending in bar or restaurant
The West Lodge Hotel is €10 and gives a discount on the leisure centre admission price.

Nice @panda …. I’m over on the other side of the peninsula from you, in Rathmullan. Absolutely gorgeous day here today and lots of motorhomes around and town busy.
Have a great weekend.

Was in Rathmullan at the weekend for the shark competition. Sorry i missed you; not up in the campervan. Also we won the competition.

Well done Ritchie on winning competition 👏

On hearing " Sharks " It reminded me of catching a Tuna off the Jacksonville Coast, Florida. Me knowing feck all about fishing managed to land this beauty below....One of the guys watching it all unfold said I was going to lose it to a Barracuda circling as I was reeling it in....The Cuda did manage to take the tail alright but the rest was intact....Best tasting Tuna I ever had when we cooked it on the barbie!

Hi Ally, I just wanted to reach out and let you know that from today, we are offering guests of our Motorhome Park a 10% discount when they dine in our restaurant during their stay. We read the reviews that you sent us and took them on board!
Can we set up a listing on your app or how does this work?
Best Regards,
Yvonne..

A refund or partial refund of the parking fee would be a better and simpler option.
If spending say €80 parking should definitely be free.

€3 or €4 off for example a €30 or €40 spend would still leave Templers Inn as an overpriced parking place.

That's a free spot, doesn't have a pub, restaurant or services, not really a comparison.

Unfortunately once again the blinds are down, the rumer is it's up for sale.
But like the phoenix, it will no doubt rise again.
There is the strangest business plan connected to this pub, everytime it's going well and super busy, the owner's pull the plug, feck the people out, who are making a go of it, and put it up for sale.

More like buy me out, or move on. Which they have done and are doing well in another premises.
