Where can i get the generator sorted - red light on the power output.
Starts and runs fine, there are no fuses internal to change, all connections are connected.
Unsure how to check the operation of the remainder of the electrical circuits - so where to send it please?
unfortunately thats going to shorten the NW200 for us to one night as not enough batteries

Any plant hire place usually have the people to repair stuff like that, you shouldn't need much battery power at this time of year, maybe you'll get by without it

If it is a Honda Generator Cathcart’s in Lisburn are very good.

If it’s running but no output then the most likely cause is de-magnetism or in brushless types it’s a failed capacitor. In the case of de-magnetism it’s a relatively easy process to “excite” the coils to restore fields, Google it and you’ll see it being done (usually with a 4” grinder) but there is a rig you can build to do it which again is easily done but carries a risk that the technician needs to be aware of and not a method to be adopted if you don’t understand the process.

In the case of an inverter generator all of the above can be disregarded 😂

Cheers all for the responses - i will give it a go with exciting the coils - sat all day telling them of the motorbikes and beer and criac - generator near fell over with excitement:-)
