Just back from the restaurant after a lovely lunch (€12) and spotted two more facilities I hadn't already noticed. A lounge with TV, fireplace and library

and an area with table soccer, dart board and pool tables

😯

Going on the experience of other places I would expect it to be full over the winter months. At the moment I would say it's probably 50-60% full. Very few UK reg. compared to mainland Europe reg.
I've seen lots of UK mh's and caravans heading home in recent weeks, probably those who came out in early January coming up on the 90 day limit.

Unbelievable.
Rip of Ireland title well deserved.
People ask why we don’t holiday in Ireland…..?
It’s easy, simply can’t afford to !

The problem is, people actually pay that.
"it was a bit expensive, but it was treat, the whole experience was marvelous"

They get away with justify it by saying, "It's a very short season, we have to make our money"
No one ever pulls them up on it, could you imagine the employers reaction, when the Unions announce that they have to pay you 3 times the hourly rate, because from now on our members are only going to work a short season, because they need the winter off.??

In my experience that’s not rip of price’s, that’s getting very normal now, you get virtually nothing with 10euro now

How can a scone and a cup of coffee be considered a treat, a formal afternoon tea yes, but a coffee and scone 🤔

Was the 10% tip offered or taken automatically, the €45 rip off should be more than enough.
Our 'treat' yesterday was coffee, croissant and fresh squeezed orange juice for €4.20 😋

Our check out invoice and to answer an earlier question, the place is full from mid October to mid March. Next winter 2022/23 the price after 21 nights will drop from the short stay €12 per night to €9 per night.

It’s sad when people rip their customers of what people need to do is order it wait till it comes ask how much it is and then say no that’s two expensive I’m not paying that and walk out if that happens 20 times or more they soon get the message and there’s nothing they can do about it it has to be thrown out(long live the revolution) 🤣👍

That hotel owned by John Magnier, I'd say the clientele he's looking for can well afford it. You can also cross the street to the bakehouse and get tea and scones baked by the same baker for 1/4 the same price
