Advice please

Hi all, may I ask advice please.
I am trying to decide between two panel campers, both same interior but different brands.

Van 1 is 2021, 15,000 miles. Interior in poor condition, seat covers worn and stain on one. Some door catches damaged. Would need to be fixed. Small rental company, not one of the well known ones.

Van 2 2018, 70,000 miles. Interior in very good condition, looks to be well maintained by professional rental company. Possibly batteries and tyres might need to be replaced due to the van's age.

Could anyone advise which might get a better bet please?? Thank you.

What make and price are the Vans,
Van 1 , upholstery can be recovered and catches etc replaced for a few hundred
Van 2 , needs new timing belt and a good service history record and maybe the batteries replaced
Really depends on the price, the 70000 miles is acceptable especially if your not going to put up many miles

It's very hard to advise without a lot more detail, makes, type etc. I, personally , would shy away from any ex rental vehicle due to the obvious lack of care from renters, some people, once they rent, seem to go out of their way to be hard on a rental vehicle. For me, it would have to cheap and come with a decent, trustworthy warranty to consider an ex rental. Just my pennies worth....

Thank you for your advice. Van 1 was rented for 5 months and is an Ertusco.
Van 2 has been rented for 4 summers and is a Weinsberg.
Both budget model vans so I understand that they will not be a well specc'd as the more high end.

Check both service histories conditions of both vans as said covers can be changed cheaper than timing belts both vans are not to bad on the mileage front, again people who rent don’t really care how they drive them as long as they look ok when they hand them back it’s a hard one to ask for a bit of advice you’ve got to go with which you think is the best for the cash your paying out .but take a mechanic with you when looking at them
